Hello, my name is Marisa and this is my story

Over 20 years ago, I discovered the power of a plant-based lifestyle—and it changed everything. I had more energy, clearer skin, better digestion, and gradually said goodbye to the sugar cravings, brain fog, and extra weight that had been weighing me down (literally and emotionally). But the real transformation wasn’t just physical—it was about feeling more in tune with my body and making choices that truly supported my well-being.

But in my early 40s, I was completely unprepared for the menopause transition. The symptoms caught me off guard, and I had to dig even deeper to learn how to care for myself in a whole new way. I started to explore how food, essential oils, herbs, and natural products could all work together to support my body.

Plus, I realized how closely my nervous system and adrenals were connected to my hormones, energy, and overall well-being. — from my energy and mood to how well my hormones responded. So I began to shift my focus to balancing my hormones, supporting my nervous system, and nourishing myself in a way that felt both practical and powerful.

As I’ve moved through midlife, I’ve seen just how much our needs shift—especially when it comes to energy, hormones, and how we feel in our bodies. That’s why I’m even more passionate now about helping women navigate this phase with nourishment, clarity, and support.

That lifestyle shift helped me manage symptoms like anxiety, digestive issues, and low energy—and gave me the tools to feel more like myself again. I also discovered that self-care and self-love weren’t just nice ideas—they were non-negotiables. When you start treating yourself with more kindness, everything shifts.

Along the way, I’ve helped many other women do the same—finding relief from frustrating symptoms and building a lifestyle that actually feels good.

My idea of a perfect Sunday morning includes a hot cup of tea and a good book! I love reading about holistic nutrition and wellness, vegan recipes, and novels with a uplifting or fun story.

 

All Animals

Especially Yorkie puppies and baby sloths. These love bugs were our first puppies: Gatsby (on the right) and Tino (named after Tino Martinez of the New York Yankees!) I also love visiting the Woodstock Animal Sanctuary. Gatsby and Tino both have a plaque there in front of the pig barn.

Traveling with my hubby

Paris, Disney and Iceland are some of our favorite places. We love trying out new plant based restaurants and cafes!
